Mom's 90th birthday surprise

See a video of Joao Pessoa in Brazil
MAKING IT PERSONAL
Well, my grandson is in Brazil learning Portugese and just about ready to charge out into the big city of Joao Pessoa, Brazil. He has an amazing attitude about this two years of his life that he has given over to missions work for the Mormon church. May God bless him on this very personal journey. Click on the name Chris in the above section to view his continually updated website.
See the video below of this beautiful part of the world in which he now lives.
Cassie and her new husband from Corpus Christi, TX are now in the process of going to Iraq or somewhere in that region, serving in the U.S. Army. She had to leave behind her little Tina Marie, who lives with her great grandma in Corpus. We will see all of this family in November for Thanksgiving, here in El Dorado, except for Cassie and her new man. God bless them both and let our prayers be forever with the honorable challenge these soldiers have in serving our great U.S.A. More later as we are updated with details.
Our daughter Rachel, has now begun kidney dialysis at home. It consumes much of her day as it takes an average of 40 minutes per treatment, 4 times per day. She still goes to college full time and is determined to get her degree in Forensics. She will make such an awesome investigator in whatever area she chooses-she's just meant for it. You go girl! She will be put on a kidney transplant list in a few months and then a pancreas transplant list as things progress. This process could change her life completely, after battling diabetes since her childhood. Our prayers are with her too and her family, Steve, Stephen and Kimberly, here in El Dorado.
These are the really sensational things going on with our family. We still have lots of great children, grandchildren and one great grandchild that need prayer and love as they travel this road called life.
